Welcome to poliastro

poliastro is a pure Python library which provides an elegant and powerful API to solve for astrodynamics and orbital mechanics problems. The community behind the project is very active, making the software to be constantly improved and updated.

At the moment, poliastro is a NumFOCUS affiliated project and it is included within the Libre Space Foundation umbrella.

If you would like to contribute to the project, please join the official chat to introduce yourself to the rest of the project members.
